From September 23d, 2020, each care unit needs to publish a text about how the patient app follows the European Web Accessibility Directive. The purpose of the directive is to include people with disabilities. Each care unit needs to add contact information so patients can report problems if they cannot use the patient app.

The care provider can choose to provide an accessibility report to the patients themselves, or to use Doctrin’s report in the patient app. The accessibility report is activated by Doctrin and then displayed in the menu in the patient app.

To activate the function, the care unit needs to provide an e-mail address and a telephone number to which the patient can turn if they experience a lack of availability. The caregiver is responsible for receiving these reports. If a report concerns Doctrin’s platform, it must be reported to Doctrin.

Doctrin provides the text for the accessibility statement, but it is possible for each care unit to make it’s own adjustments.
